A 360 campaign — including print, digital, out-of-home, and events — to launch Westfield’s newest Southern California retail destination, The Village at Westfield Topanga.
For the launch of The Village at Westfield Topanga, we were tasked with creating a complete visual campaign to celebrate the arrival of this new central gathering place for shopping, dining, events, entertainment and leisure that is unlike any other in the San Fernando Valley. The campaign, entitled #ItTakesTheVillage, came to life in print and digital and numerous out-of-home placements, including bus wraps, digital signage, and billboards all over Los Angeles.
Protagonist conceived of the campaign and created all of the visuals for it, including original photography and design, featuring Los Angelenos and influencers who embody the unique attitude and style of The Village.
Protagonist also engaged celebrity designer Nathan Turner to create a pop-up shop at the center and produced a series of events involving Nathan and other design brands and influencers.
The launch was a rousing success, and The Village continues to be an exciting new and eclectic retail and lifestyle destination for visitors and residents of the West Valley alike.
